How do e-vouchers work?

Electronic or e-vouchers are the most hassle-free format. You are paid directly into your bank account so you don't have to worry about redeeming vouchers. Payment is fast and secure and you receive payment notification via email if you have an email address, or alternatively by post if you do not have access to email.

Do I need to have an email address in order to accept e-vouchers?

No. If you do not have an email address, you will receive payment notifications via post rather than email.

How do paper vouchers work?

Paper vouchers work like cash. The parent hands these over to you and these are then redeemed through Sodexho Pass. The vouchers are highly secure. Once payment is made for the vouchers, you receive remittance advice via either email or post detailing the payment(s) that has been made to your bank account.

How do I know I've been paid?

You will receive remittance advice for each payment made to your bank account detailing the date, who has paid you and a reference code if you have requested one to be used. If you have redeemed your vouchers but have failed to receive a remittance advice and/or haven't received payment into your bank account, please contact Customer Care.

How do I know who has paid me?

If you accept paper vouchers, your remittance advice will detail the name of the parent who has paid you. You can request your own reference, such as the child's name. If you accept payment from e-voucher users, parents can assign a reference to each payment they make to your bank account. This will appear on your remittance advice.

Are the vouchers secure?

E-vouchers are fully secure. Employees use their email address and automatically generated password to login. Your bank details are not accessible from the site. Your bank details are stored and used securely to action payments to you. Sodexho Pass paper vouchers feature a bar code, a unique number and a hologram. They are printed in secure premises on security paper similar to bank notes with orange anti-copy backing and UV fluorescing marks. Each voucher features the employee's name and the employer's reference number and has a detachable counterfoil. Our systems are fully automated and secure, which ensures 100% accurate processing.
